Oh yes, and cinnamon was involved. But...that's pretty much a given.

Well, I suppose I should explain exactly WHY change is necessary for me right now. But a picture is worth a thousand words, so…I’ll provide two.

…is simply not attractive. Not only that, it’s actually sickening to see myself this way.

So hello, 2010. My new year’s resolution may not exactly be kosher…in fact, it’s the direct opposite of the norm…but my goal is essentially the same as most: get healthy.

Sorry for the long absence. I’ve been trying my best to soak up all the wonderfulness that has been winter break, and blogging sort of took a back seat for awhile…

So. What have I been up to lately?

Well, there were some great Christmas happenings at home…

Decorating! Well, actually, Mum did the tree WITHOUT me this year (grumble). But it turned out okay, even without my expertise. =P

Christmas oatmeal in my new Disney bowl? Perfs.

But this adventure defs took the cake:

Traipsin' through the land of Disney with the boytoy = bliss.

But even after all the holiday hubub died down, there were still many escapades to be had.

Case in point:

...exploring the wonders San Francisco has to offer on a (rare) clear, sunny day.

We meandered through Presidio's famous pet cemetery...

...discovered the beauty of the glorious Grace Cathedral.

and...whoa. Hold it.

Ahh, the things one never expected to find in a seemingly innocent (Ghiradelli) chocolate shop..

Speaking of food, I would be remiss to exclude the delectable nommage that has been enjoyed over the past month. Some noteworthy examples:

Froyo ftw! This was from Willow Glen Frozen Yogurt Co; tart with berries and granola. Yumskies.

Nana pancakes bigger than my face? Yes, pleaseee.

An at-home favorite: banana+cream of wheat+cinnamon+PEANUT BUTTER. Sighh..

Perfection.

Lastly, I’ve been enjoying the natural beauty of Norcal. There’s always something blooming here!

Pink is obvi my favorite. =]

Oky, so thar be a minor picture update. Other than what I described above, things have been going considerably better than they were a couple months ago. Just gotta keep on keepin’ on.

(Oh, and for some reason WordPress is being a poopface about me uploading so many pictures. Reconsidering moving back to Blogger. =/ Just a heads up.)

It’s hard getting bad news each week. Discouraging, y’know?

On another note, why is fall so, so gorgeous?

Ran 6 miles today. Wasn’t hard. The neighborhoods here are blooming with fall colors – an hour passed by in a blink.

Still, it’ll be good to go home. 4 days!

Anyhoo…off to dindins now. A challenge? Pshh.
